These are supplied as both OEM and aftermarket systems. CES is the market leader of emission solutions to the medium and heavy duty on-highway truck manufacturers for Euro IV and V and EPA regulated markets. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. . Support on-site integration of engine and aftertreatment systems
o Interface with customer performance and software engineers
o Develop functional response models for the influence of inputs/sub-component parameters on system performance
o Support tuning of system controls to optimize performance and diagnostics
o Create and publish performance tuning procedures/manuals
o Verify and validate system performance through simulations and physical testing
o Monitor and report vehicle field test validation of system performance
2. Support new product introduction program
o Support system and subsystem requirements management including critical characteristics/parameters.
o Responsible for failure diagnosis, identification, and entry into Cummins McParts
o Responsible for completion of Cummins problem solving process for assigned incidents
o Support program design reviews as specified

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
|
1. Strong ability to function within very demanding multi-cultural customer environment
2. Experience with engine and aftertreatment performance development
3. Fundamental understanding of aftertreatment systems and associated technologies
4. Experience and user capability with Matlab-Simulink based controls software
5. Knowledge of system engineering tools and process
6. Flexibility in taking on different responsibilities as the work changes
7. Must be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
8. Strong analytical and problem solving capability
9. Strong commitment to on-time delivery
